I absolutely love these little fish earrings. I bought them along with the snake earrings on a recent visit home to Toronto — my motherland — which already made them feel a little more special. Instead of keeping the pairs together, I split them with my dear friend Kirstie, who was also one of my bridesmaids. We’re both Pisces and both born in the Year of the Snake, so now we each have a fish and a snake — tiny, meaningful reminders of our friendship, where we come from, and all the years and life we’ve shared. This is what I’ve always loved about bluboho. The pieces are beautiful, but somehow they become part of your story. And while I’m here… I’m still hoping the little diamond bar earrings make their way back someday. I lost one of mine and still have its mate tucked away, waiting and hoping I’ll be able to complete the pair again.
