i want to do this with you forever
we had been talking about going to Vancouver Island for a few years, always knowing it would be a special trip. we were at the Nami Project in Ucluelet, curled up on the couch, watching the sun set over the waves when I said I want to do this forever. chris replied that he was just about to say the same thing and then pulled out the ring. the sapphire shifts colour in the light - going from bright blue to almost clear. it feels like a piece of us that has been made into something tangible.
