Position Overview: We are seeking an inspiring and visionary Creative Director to join our Carlow office. In this role, you will work closely with the Creative Director to lead and execute the creative vision for Bluboho. You will oversee a talented team of designers and creatives, ensuring our brand’s aesthetics and messaging are consistently captivating and aligned with our values. Additionally, you will oversee social media content planning across all platforms to ensure a cohesive and engaging digital presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creative direction, a passion for fine jewellery, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership:

• Collaborate with the VP of brand and product to develop and execute the creative strategy for Bluboho.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, photographers, and other creatives.
• Ensure all creative work meets the highest standards of quality and aligns with Bluboho’s brand identity.

Brand Development:

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
• Drive the development of innovative and engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns that enhance brand awareness and loyalty.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure cohesive and integrated campaigns.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to team members to continuously elevate the quality of creative work.

Social Media Content Planning:

• Oversee the planning and execution of social media content across all platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and others.
• Develop a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Ensure social media content is visually stunning, on-brand, and effectively communicates Bluboho’s story and values.
• Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content strategy and engagement.

Content Creation:

• Oversee the production of visual assets, including photoshoots, videos, and graphic designs.
• Ensure all content is visually stunning, on-brand, and effectively communicates Bluboho’s story and values.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep Bluboho’s creative work fresh and innovative.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the Creative Director and other senior leaders to align creative strategies with business goals.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where creative ideas can flourish.
• Present creative concepts and campaigns to stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within the fashion, luxury, or fine jewellery industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful creative campaigns.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Exceptional visual and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Experience with social media content planning and strategy.
• Passion for fine jewellery and a deep understanding of Bluboho’s brand values.
• Ability to think strategically while maintaining a hands-on approach to creative work.
