All gold used in jewellery is an alloy—pure gold is blended with other metals to improve strength and durability. The ratio of gold to other metals influences both colour and wearability. For example:

14k = 58.5% pure gold

18k = 75% pure gold

22k = 91.75% pure gold

We use nickel-free alloys so that our yellow and rose gold options are hypoallergenic and comfortable for sensitive skin.
