scosha is an australian-born painter and sculptor who discovered her affinity for jewelry during years of travel. her concept was born from a vivid memory of a young girl she met at an orphanage in india, whose ears had been pierced by needle and thread. two hot pink threads had been left in her earlobes to heal, sealed with a tiny bead. it was this use of textile, combined with traditionally precious material, that struck her as a perfect balance. scosha’s colourful macrame and woven nylon bracelets are all designed and handcrafted from her studio in brooklyn, nyc.
