The Creative Copywriter is the storyteller of our brand. This role is responsible for producing all creative copy for our products and collections for various channels. Our unique way of storytelling is how guests fall in love with our pieces! The role of the Creative Copywriter is to take the idea behind a piece or collection and create a compelling story that our teams can use to create an emotional connection between our guests and our brand.

who you are:

You are a storyteller, wordsmith, maybe even a brand poet. You have the skills and ability to transform ideas into engaging content, as well as a strong sense for brand tone, a passion for the written word, and an eye for detail. You have demonstrable interest in creative writing and poetry with an ability to produce prose that goes beyond a technical or marketing level of copy.

what you’ll be doing:

  • Write creative copy for all product collections, applying and flexing tone of voice across different channels for a range of audiences
  • Forming original narratives which unite a collection of varied products with a strong emphasis on emotional connection
  • Develop collections of cohesive creative ideas according to a specific brief
  • Utilize research skills to gain knowledge in art history, global cultures, and ethical jewelry best practices
  • Often take more extensive copy and condense it down to a single sentence without losing its emotional impact
  • Proofread and self-edit copy, ensuring brand guidelines and brief expectations are followed and met
  • Incorporate knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) into copy to support in increasing traffic to our website and social channels
  • Deliver multiple projects on parallel timelines with a high degree of quality
  • Create and foster cross-functional relationships with the Creative, Marketing and Production Teams
  • Participate in brainstorms and ideation sessions across these teams

what you’ll bring

Required:

  • 3+ years of copy writing experience, preferably with a focus on creative writing
  • The ability to create written pieces that evoke emotions and connect with the audience on a personal level
  • The ability to work through projects that require repetition; creating product descriptions that are uniform, describe the same things (gemstone+ side stones + setting), in the same tone of voice, and yet each description feels fresh and unique
  • Self-starter with strong written, interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
  • A proactive attitude, taking the initiative to act when needed and continuously striving for improvement
  • Highly motivated, able to set priorities and react accordingly
  • Ability to promote cross functional relationships that encourage a multi-channel team environment – a ‘one team’ mindset
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices
